Six Upbeat Songs With A Positive Message, is Jazz Emu's first EP, released shortly after his most serious album 'Sings: The Inimitable Sound Of Archie Henderson'. According to Jazz, he felt that his music had 'all got a bit bleak' so wanted to create something upbeat and fun again.

The EP has a summery influence, with a number of precussion and acoustic sounds present throughout. It discusses a variety of topics such as love, complicity with fascism, body image and A.I.
